Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer to support a key compliance initiative in the financial sector. The role focuses on implementing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements across client onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and deliver regulatory and process changes in an agile working environment. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and specify business requirements in close collaboration with business stakeholders
Evaluate and improve existing business processes, proposing viable solution options
Organize and facilitate workshops; document findings and decisions
Model, verify, and maintain business processes using BPMN in the process management portal
Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party software vendors
Candidate Profile: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Requirements Engineer in the financial services industry
Proven track record in agile project delivery with technical implementation teams
Relevant certifications in Requirements Engineering and/or Business Analysis (e.g., IREB, BABOK, etc.)
Strong analytical thinking, conceptual skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Solid knowledge of regulatory compliance topics, particularly AML, sanctions screening, and anti-corruption practices
Language Requirements: German: Native-level fluency, both written and verbal
English: Very good proficiency, both written and verbal
Project Scope:
This project focuses on integrating AML compliance measures into the client onboarding process, including initial and ongoing screening against external sanctions and PEP lists. It also involves enhancements to customer data updates and the implementation of relevant compliance reporting metrics.
