The candidate that will succeed in this position will be responsible for providing comprehensive business and technical support for core Investment Platform applications, including the management of major incidents. The candidate will deliver first- and second-line support to Investment Platform users, ensuring timely resolution of issues and service requests.
Responsibilities
* Delivering end-to-end business and technical support for core Investment Platform applications, including major incident management;
* Providing first- and second-line support to users, ensuring efficient resolution of incidents and requests;
* Supporting the T+1 settlement cycle for U.S. transactions, including participation in an on-call support rotation;
* Escalating incidents to third-level support teams when required;
* Delivering training and coaching sessions to application users;
* Staying informed on current and upcoming application enhancements and business process changes;
* Developing strong working relationships with users to understand business needs and requirements;
* Identifying and proposing opportunities for technical and process improvements in collaboration with product and development teams;
* Documenting support processes, procedures and operational tasks.
Qualifications
* Degree in technology or a related field, preferably with a financial orientation;
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
* Swiss resident or willing to relocate to Switzerland;
* Relevant professional experience within asset management or the banking environment;
* Strong understanding of financial instruments, including Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equities and FX;
* Knowledge of ITIL best practice;
* Good command of Windows, UNIX, SQL and Oracle, with strong database querying capabilities;
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and a good working knowledge of French.
