An international company operating in the agro‑commodities sector is seeking its future Senior Global IT Director.
The organisation operates across multiple continents and plays a key role in global agricultural supply chains, with activities spanning sourcing, logistics, distribution and commercial operations. With a long‑established international footprint, the company continues to invest in technology to strengthen operational performance and support its transformation agenda.
In this context, the Group is looking for a technology leader capable of combining strong technical expertise with business engagement at senior leadership level. The role is central in ensuring that technology platforms, infrastructure and enterprise systems effectively support operations across multiple markets.
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Senior Global IT Director will lead the global IT function composed of approximately 30–40 professionals, working in a lean organisation combining internal teams and external partners.

Role & Responsibilities
* Define and execute the technology roadmap supporting the Group’s operational and transformation objectives.
* Lead and develop the global IT organisation across multiple regions.
* Oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise applications and cybersecurity, ensuring reliability, scalability and performance of core systems.
* Drive the evolution of enterprise platforms and technology architecture, supporting business operations across international markets.
* Ensure robust IT governance, vendor management and service delivery across the organisation.
* Contribute to strategic discussions with senior leadership while maintaining a strong operational proximity to systems, teams and projects.
* Act as a bridge between business leadership and technology execution, ensuring pragmatic and value‑driven solutions.
Profile
* Solid experience in senior IT leadership roles within international companies.
* Strong technical background in information systems, infrastructure and enterprise applications.
* Ability to combine hands‑on technological understanding with strategic dialogue at executive level.
* Proven experience leading IT teams and operating complex technology environments.
* A track record of driving innovative IT and digital solutions across all functions in the group.
* Pragmatic and creative, operational mindset with the capacity to remain close to systems, teams and delivery.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and board‑level stakeholders.
* Fluency in English required.
The role is based in the Geneva region and requires frequent international travel. Candidates must be domiciled in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
