Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Legal Counsel to join a Legal team within a regulated Financial Services environment. This role will focus on advising the business on corporate governance matters, entity management, and regulatory-driven governance requirements across the EU.

* Advise on corporate governance matters, including board and committee governance, policies, and frameworks
* Support board and senior management with governance-related advice and documentation
* Manage entity governance across EU jurisdictions, including statutory filings and corporate records
* Draft, review, and negotiate governance-related legal documentation
* Provide legal support on regulatory and compliance-driven governance matters relevant to financial services
* Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and internal stakeholders
* Monitor and advise on developments in corporate governance and regulatory requirements impacting the business
About the candidate
* EU-qualified lawyer
* 5-7 years\' post-qualification experience (PQE)
* Strictly law firm-trained background (applications without law firm experience will not be considered)
* Proven experience advising Financial Services clients (banking, asset management, investment funds, private credit, insurance, or similar regulated environments)
* Strong expertise in corporate governance and company law
* Excellent drafting and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent English. German is a plus.
* Comfortable operating in a regulated financial services environment
* Confident advising senior stakeholders
* Able to work independently while collaborating across functions
