Bellevue Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team in our beautiful, modern new building! Our assistants play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments by coordinating and executing treatment plans and providing thorough client education.
In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, assist technicians with pre- and post-surgical care and address clients' questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for those who excel in client engagement and schedule management.
This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with one Saturday a month.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
Compensation: $21-23per hour, for each hour worked*
Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current experience

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
2+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
Proficiency in the following skills:
Patient care
Restraint

SQ and IM injections
