In this role, you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features that empower creators by integrating with YouTube, Google Commerce, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies including Machine learning.
* Build and maintain software for the YouTube and YouTube Studio applications across web and mobile, leveraging the full potential of YouTube's infrastructure.
* Collaborate with Product Management, User Experience (UX), and User Research to translate product requirements into user-centric solutions.
* Partner with cross-functional engineering teams including Viewer, Merchants, and Platform to deliver seamless, end-to-end shopping experiences.
Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
* 2 years of experience with full-stack development with back-end such as Java, Python, Go, or C++ codebases, and front-end including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
* 1 year of experience with Machine Learning (ML) infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
Preferred qualifications
* Experience with C++ and TypeScript.
* Experience with YouTube or Google Commerce tech stack.
* Experience in Business-to-Consumer (B2C) or e-commerce software.
