Digital Trade Compliance Analyst vacancy for our Basel based client in the Chemical and Manufacturing sector.
Your tasks:
* Support HS classification management of chemical products
* Assist with Controlled Substance management
* Utilise internal databases and IT tools to analyse data and create reports
* Support the implementation of digital trade compliance tools, automation, and artificial intelligence
* Interact with different geographical and cross-functional teams
* Support internal projects
Your experience/knowledge:
* Knowledge of chemical structures and chemical nomenclature (e.g., Bachelor's in chemistry) is essential
* Experience in agrochemical, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry
* Proficiency in Excel and database management
* Language skills: English
* German language skills are very welcome
* Understanding of World Customs Organization's classification principles (HS/HTS system)
* Basic programming skills and ability to develop basic scripts and automation tools to streamline compliance processes
