Chief Procurement Officer/Head of Supply Chain (M/F/D)
As Chief Procurement Officer/Head of Supply Chain at group level, you will build and lead an integrated Procurement & Supply Chain organization across all entities of Arcus Group AG. In this executive role, you will transform and elevate procurement into a strategic value driver, directly contributing to the group’s competitiveness, resilience, and profitability. Reporting to the CEO, you will play a key role in shaping our long‑term growth strategy.
You are:
A visionary and hands‑on executive with a strong track record in B2B industrial trading environments. You have successfully led organizational transformation and know how to align procurement and supply chain structures with ambitious growth strategies. With your leadership presence and stakeholder management skills, you inspire international teams, drive change, and build sustainable supplier partnerships in dynamic market conditions.
Your background:
Broad experience in procurement and supply chain management within a B2B industrial product trading environment
Proven track record in building, transforming, and leading international procurement organizations
Strong track record in negotiating international framework agreements and consolidating volumes
Deep understanding of supplier base optimization, risk management, and cost structures
Strategic and operational strength combined with strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
A technical or business degree
Business‑fluent English (written and spoken)
Your main responsibilities:
Define and execute the group‑wide procurement and supply chain strategy in line with the group strategy
Consolidate purchasing volumes across entities and negotiate international framework agreements
Optimize supplier base, cost structures, and risk management processes
Oversee and continuously improve end‑to‑end supply chain performance
Drive digitalization and implement data‑based decision‑making processes
Build, lead, and develop an international procurement and supply chain team
Ensure close alignment with sales, logistics, and operations across all markets
Establish procurement as a strategic partner to the business and a key contributor to group growth
