Legal Counsel, Claims Coordinator - 3-4-month assignmentAbout Our ClientMultinational company based in Geneva.Job DescriptionCoordinate the end-to-end process of unaccompanied cargo (UAC) shipments within the Claims department (Legal), ensuring timely and accurate handling.Liaise with shipping agents, port authorities, customs, and internal departments to ensure all documentation and processes are in place.Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve any issues or delays.Ensure compliance with local and international maritime regulations and company policies.Maintain accurate records and ensure proper archiving of shipping documentation.Provide regular status updates and reports to management and clients.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.The Successful ApplicantImmediately available (no later than 1st of September).Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Maritime Studies, International Trade, or a related field.2-3 years of experience in claims management.Knowledge of international shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures is a strong advantage.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills in English; French is a strong advantage.What's on OfferA dynamic and international work environment in the heart of Geneva.Michael Page is a global leader in recruitment consultancy, founded in 1976, with a mission to connect top talent with the world's leading companies.
