Analytical Expert (Science and Technology)
Our client is a Swiss pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures, and distributes innovative and proven medicines worldwide. The company focuses on advanced drug delivery technologies and is known for its high-quality products and commitment to sustainability. They also partner to expand their product portfolio, develop unique drug delivery technologies, and offer contract manufacturing services.
Responsibilities:
* Offer technical and analytical support for product transfers and project management
* Anticipate and solve project-related issues to ensure smooth product transfers
* Improve internal technical knowledge through analysis and expertise in oral solid dosage forms
* Offer technical guidance to resolve complex analytical problems, using expertise in method development and troubleshooting
* Work with cross-functional teams to address deviations, out-of-specification results, and other quality issues
* Contribute to detailed investigation reports, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures
Profile:
* Required: Degree in Chemistry or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred
* 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on solid oral dosage forms
* Proficiency in English and German (oral and written) preferred
* Expertise in HPLC, UPLC, MS, NMR, Dissolution, and other analytical methods
* Strong data interpretation, statistical analysis, and relevant software skills (e.g., Empower)
* Excellent problem-solving skills for quality control lab issues
* Strong communication skills for presenting findings and writing reports
