We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our engineering team and support the development, certification, and continuous improvement of aircraft structures. In this role, you will perform structural analysis, prepare substantiation documentation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic aerospace environment.
Responsabilities
* Perform stress analysis, sizing, and structural substantiation for primary and secondary aircraft structures using classical hand calculations and finite element methods.
* Prepare, check, and approve structural dispositions for deviations, supported by existing finite element models.
* Conduct structural analysis of metallic and composite components in both development and certification phases.
* Develop and review engineering documentation, including memos, certification reports, production instructions, and acceptance criteria.
* Approve drawing and parts list changes for corrective actions, structural improvements, and further developments.
* Prepare detailed engineering analysis reports and contribute to structural test plans and test reports.
* Provide analytical support to cross-functional teams and interface with external suppliers or airworthiness authorities when required.
Requirements
* Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent, with focus on aircraft structures.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a structural engineer in the aerospace sector.
* Strong proficiency in classical stress analysis, sizing, and hand calculation methodologies.
* Experience with finite element tools such as NASTRAN (MSC/NX), FEMAP, or similar software.
* Knowledge of composite structural analysis is an advantage.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to evolving priorities.
* Fluency in English.
