Role Purpose
Support the delivery of value‑add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional, and consistent manner.
We are seeking a procurement professional with experience in marketing procurement to join our Marketing Services Sourcing team. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on exposure to marketing procurement activities, understands agency landscapes and negotiations, and can operate effectively in a client‑facing, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support clients through key stages of the sourcing lifecycle, including category analysis, strategy development, competitive tendering, and contract negotiation.
- Contribute marketing procurement expertise across categories such as Media, Creative, Production, Promotional Materials, Events, and Sponsorships.
- Assist in the development and execution of sourcing strategies to drive value for clients.
- Provide insights on marketing suppliers and agency capabilities, contributing to category strategies and sourcing initiatives.
Marketing Procurement Activities
- Support strategic sourcing and category management activities across marketing categories (e.g., creative, media, production, events, sponsorships).
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and cost drivers to identify value opportunities.
- Support RFI/RFP processes and competitive bidding activities.
- Contribute to negotiations of pricing, service levels, and contractual terms in collaboration with senior team members.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to understand business needs, timelines, and priorities.
- Support effective communication between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Assist in managing supplier relationships to ensure delivery quality and performance.
- Support issue resolution related to delivery, cost, or service levels.
- Analyze marketing spend and support identification of efficiency and savings opportunities.
- Contribute to risk assessment related to suppliers, compliance, and market dynamics.
Project Support
- Support sourcing leads in delivering sourcing projects across various marketing categories (e.g., events, media buying, print, advertising, experiential).
- Assist in managing tenders, evaluating proposals, and preparing recommendations.
- Support contract drafting based on templates and established guidelines.
- Maintain awareness of marketing industry trends and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Collaborative team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
- Several years of experience in procurement, with exposure to marketing categories.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred).
- Experience in managing sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations.
- Understanding of agency contracts and procurement processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret spend and supplier data.
- Good knowledge of marketing supplier landscape is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured manner.
- Experience with sourcing tools and systems is a plus.
