Ph3Position Overview /h3pEMEA Commercial Director – Reinforcement Materials (RM) segment, leading commercial strategy, customer partnerships, and a team of 9 across Sales, Technical Solutions, and Commercial Support. Will directly influence the growth and strategic direction of Cabot’s RM EMEA business. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Customer Market Leadership /h3ulliBuild and sustain strong, trust-based customer relationships across the region. /liliLead strategic customer account planning, including sales strategies and development plans. /liliIdentify customer challenges and drive cross‑functional solutions. /liliSupport technical solutions to promote new products and unlock new applications. /li /ulh3Commercial Strategy Execution /h3ulliExecute and continuously refine the regional commercial strategy. /liliConduct market studies and lead market and product development activities. /liliDevelop and manage pricing strategies in alignment with product management. /liliGather and interpret market, competitive, and customer intelligence. /li /ulh3Team Leadership /h3ulliLead and develop a team of nine direct reports across Sales, Technical Solutions, and Commercial Support. /liliEncourage a culture of performance, accountability, and customer focus. /liliProvide coaching and development through Performance‑Based Management and Value Selling. /li /ulh3Cross‑Functional Influence /h3ulliCollaborate with the Regional Performance Unit Leader on long‑term customer contracts. /liliEnsure close integration with supply chain, operations, finance, and global business teams. /liliRepresent Cabot externally through presentations and customer seminars. /li /ulh3Financial Operational Stewardship /h3ulliDevelop and manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial processes to support annual plans. /liliDrive accuracy and strong analytics within the regional commercial organization. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3h3Capabilities Competencies /h3ulliProven commercial leadership with a track record of driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. /liliStrong B2B sales and marketing expertise, ideally in chemicals, materials, industrials, or related sectors. /liliStrategic thinking with strong analytical skills, able to use insights to guide decisions. /liliOutstanding relationship‑building skills, earning trust and influencing at all levels. /liliEffective negotiator, capable of managing complex deals and long‑term customer agreements. /liliSkilled in developing and motivating diverse teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. /liliHighly organized with strong planning, prioritization, and process skills. /liliAbility to collaborate and lead in a matrixed, global organization. /li /ulh3Education Experience /h3ulliBachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. /liliMBA or advanced degree preferred. /lili10+ years in Sales roles. /lili5+ years in commercial or sales leadership. /liliExperience outside of sales—such as general management, finance, or operations—is a plus. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
