We are looking for a Risk Analyst Specialist for BG (Suisse) Private Bank Risk Management Team.
BG (Suisse) Private Bank is a private bank based in Lugano, Switzerland, and is part of the Banca Generali Group. Founded in 2021 and activated in 2023, it offers personalized advisory services for the protection of savings and the planning of clients’ life projects.
The team oversees risk activities within the Bank and provides risk oversight and support to our subsidiary asset management company, licensed under LICol as a collective asset manager.
The successful candidate [BSSGG1] will play a key role in managing risks related to portfolio and collective asset management activities at the subsidiary, while also contributing to the Bank’s broader risk management framework. The position reports directly to the Bank’s Chief Risk Officer, who supervises both internal risk activities and those related to the subsidiary.
Main Task:
* Risk Oversight for portfolio management
* Implement and monitor risk management frameworks in line with Swiss and BG Group regulations
* Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk self assessment (RSA)
* Prepare internal and regulatory risk reports
* Reporting to the parent company
* Draft and update internal regulation
* Contribute to the Bank’s overall risk management activities
* Participate in internal and regulatory audits
* Reporting to the subsidiary’s BoD
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics or a related field
* Proven track record in risk management for managers of collective assets (Article 24 FinIA) and portfolio managers (Art. 17 para. 1 FinIA)
* Knowledge of Swiss financial regulations (FinIA, FinSA, CISA)
* Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent command of Italian, with working knowledge of English and one additional Swiss national language
* Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to continuous learning
* Capable of working independently and collaboratively
Nice to have:
* Solid knowledge of Avaloq core banking system and its functionalities
* Solid working knowledge of VBA
* Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, management companies, administrators, board of directors, and supervisory authorities
* Strong understanding of complex financial instruments and collective investment schemes
Residence and relocation to Switzerland will be required.
