METROLOGIST ( M/F/X)
Your Role
A true technical reference in metrology, you ensure the execution of complex dimensional checks and the programming of 3D measuring equipment. Through your expertise, you contribute to mastering product quality, optimising control methods and continuously improving company processes.
Your Responsibilities
Perform dimensional checks and 3D measurements according to control ranges and instructions.
Create, program and optimise measurement programmes on three-dimensional equipment (Zeiss), optical (Keyence) and durometers.
Make the equipment accessible to production.
Participate in the development of automated control solutions linked to the MES.
Manage measuring equipment (calibrations, monitoring and conformity of the fleet).
Train users in best practices for using control equipment.
Complete and update control reports and associated quality documentation.
Participate in the continuous improvement of control methods, processes and
the organisation of the service.
Ensure the execution, analysis and monitoring of measurement system capabilities (MSA) in accordance with quality requirements.
Participate in defining and implementing the most suitable measuring and control equipment for new products.
Identify service non-conformities, contribute to their handling and actively participate in solving company problems by providing expertise on measuring equipment and methods.
Participate in company improvement projects (5S, SMED, digitalisation, etc.)
Your Profile
Technical training (CFC, BTS, DUT or equivalent) in metrology, quality, mechanics, microtechnology or watchmaking.
Proven experience in dimensional metrology, ideally in the watchmaking industry.
Mastery of reading plans and geometric tolerancing.
Experience programming 3D measuring machines (Zeiss, Vertex or equivalent).
Knowledge of managing measuring equipment and associated IT tools.
Rigor, autonomy, analytical mind and a taste for teamwork.
Field ease, practical sense and good communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a demanding environment focused on precision and excellence.
