YOUR MISSION
* Support Research & Development projects within Group Engineering
* Program machines and develop procedures
* Design, construct, improve, operate, and maintain test benches in our lab
* Design and perform initial sample / proof‑of‑concept tests
* Carry out activities with a strong customer focus
* Prepare engineering documentation and presentations
YOUR PROFILE
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Systems and Controls, Materials Science, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
* Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and programming
* Experience with 3D CAD software
* Knowledge of sensing and actuation technologies, mechanical testing, polymers, and programming (Python, C#, PLC, Matlab, Arduino) is a plus
* Practical experience in building machines and familiarity with electrical cabinets / diagrams is a plus
* Ability to promote continuous improvement while achieving the desired results
* Familiarity with virtual product development (e.g., Finite Element Analysis)
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Self‑driven, proactive, and well‑organised team player
* Fluent in English and German (written and oral)
