Overview
This full-time position focuses on strategic B2B marketing management across a broad portfolio including servers, desktops, hardware-related software, and solutions. The role partners closely with Sales and senior stakeholders to steer marketing activities based on data, ROI, and business impact rather than tactical execution alone. The position operates in an international environment with close collaboration across functions and markets. Hybrid working is supported, with office locations in Essen or Zurich.
Responsibilities
* Lead marketing initiatives in alignment with overall business and portfolio strategy
* Act as a strategic sparring partner to Sales, validating assumptions, business cases, and ROI
* Manage and optimize a cross-portfolio marketing mix covering hardware, software, and services
* Analyze retail and e-tail performance using sell-out data, promotions, and ROI metrics
* Evaluate marketing activities for public sector and enterprise segments based on lead value and conversion
* Own marketing budget planning, forecasting, reporting, and quarterly financial processes
* Define and steer events and trade fairs with a strong focus on messaging, leads, and business value
* Represent the company brand with professionalism and strategic consistency in the market
Position Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
* Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably within hardware, technology, or complex solution portfolios
* Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision-making
* Experience evaluating AI-related initiatives based on use case, ROI, and scalability
* Fluency in English is mandatory; German proficiency is required for this role
* Confident communication and presentation skills with senior internal and external stakeholders
* Structured, reliable working style with high ownership and accountability
* Ability to challenge assumptions constructively and remain composed in complex environments
