About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious sustainability analyst passionate about data-driven business. The successful candidate will work both independently and in teams, interacting with users and data providers of our database in the Batteries & Electronics sector.
Responsibilities
1. Provide technical support in projects to improve and develop the database, including:
1. Desk research on manufacturing of battery/electronic products and analysis for the sector manager;
* Review datasets in data provision projects;
o Engage with external stakeholders, such as data providers, guiding them through data preparation and submission;
+ Support communication efforts and assist users of our database;
# Assist in developing tools and models to enhance data creation within the sector.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
2. Degree in electronics/electrical engineering, electrochemistry, environmental engineering focusing on electronics or batteries, or a related field;
3. Preferably with at least one year of industry or research experience, including data manipulation, life cycle inventory modeling, and environmental impact assessments related to batteries, electronic components, or data centers;
4. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and end-of-life for various battery types and electronic components is a plus;
5. Experience with LCA methodologies and our database is advantageous;
6. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus;
7. Strong skills in MS Office;
8. Basic programming skills, especially in Python;
* Self-motivated, systematic, curious, with strong attention to detail.
