Technical Business Analyst – OneSumX Risk Management (RiskPro) Portfolio Risk Profiling & Investment Solutions (Java experience must have)
We are seeking a Technical Developer / Technical Business Analyst to support and enhance OneSumX Risk Management (RiskPro) within our Risk, Finance, HR & Legal domain under the Corporate & Support Platform – Development & Integration Department.
This role is hands‑on technical, with strong involvement in RiskPro implementation, enhancements, production support, and vendor coordination, while also acting as a bridge between Risk, Finance, and IT stakeholders. The position plays a critical role in ensuring the stability, evolution, and regulatory alignment of portfolio risk profiling and risk management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Platform Responsibilities
* Support the technical implementation, configuration, and maintenance of OneSumX Risk Management (RiskPro).
* Handle minor enhancements, configuration changes, and defect fixes within the RiskPro platform.
* Coordinate with Wolters Kluwer / OneSumX product vendors for issue resolution, root‑cause analysis, and responsibility alignment.
* Manage product version upgrades, patches, and release deployments in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
Technical & Development Responsibilities
* Work hands‑on with Java 21, Maven, and Liquibase for application builds, schema changes, and controlled deployments.
* Develop and troubleshoot SQL / Oracle PL‑SQL queries and database objects supporting risk calculations and reporting.
* Support API integrations and data exchange interfaces used by RiskPro and upstream/downstream systems.
* Use Git / GitHub and CI/CD pipelines for source control, build, and deployment activities.
* Analyze logs, batch jobs, connectors, and interfaces to resolve production incidents efficiently.
Business Analysis & Risk Domain Responsibilities
* Gather and analyze business requirements from Risk, Treasury, Finance, and Investment stakeholders.
* Translate business needs into technical and functional specifications using Agile (Scrum) practices.
* Perform functional impact analysis for risk calculation changes, regulatory updates, and system enhancements.
* Mandatory or strong advantage: Prior experience with OneSumX Risk Management (RiskPro).
* Willingness to consider profiles without OneSumX, provided there is experience in Risk Management, including:
* Treasury & Cash Management
* Liquidity Risk
* Asset–Liability Management (ALM)
* Interest Rate Risk
* Portfolio Risk & Regulatory Reporting
Testing, Security & Support
* Define and execute functional test cases, FAT, and non‑regression testing.
* Identify and mitigate security risks related to data transfers, credentials, and sensitive information.
* Provide third‑level (L3) production support, including incident analysis, documentation, and post‑incident reviews.
* Maintain high‑quality technical and functional documentation.
Professional Background
* Degree from ETH, UAS, university, or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Technical Developer, or similar role in banking IT.
* Good understanding of financial systems, risk calculations, and banking data flows.
* Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Strong technical hands‑on contributor, not purely functional
* Comfortable operating at the intersection of risk business logic and system implementation
* Experience supporting vendor products in regulated banking environments
* Proactive, structured, and capable of managing production‑critical systems
