We’re Hiring: IT/OT Infrastructure Manager - Permanent position
Location: Visp or Basel, Switzerland (4 days on-site)
Language required: fluent German and English
An exciting opportunity has opened with our TOP client, a global leader in specialty chemicals, a company with more than 120 years of expertise in delivering sustainable solutions that make daily life safer, cleaner, healthier, and greener.
We’re looking for a well-experienced IT/OT Infrastructure Manager to join the team. This role is not just technical; it’s highly collaborative and stakeholder-focused, requiring strong communication and leadership skills to work across multiple functions, vendors, and local teams.
* Act as a primary liaison between IT/OT, local operations, and the global digital team.
* Lead and manage relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
* Drive infrastructure services: servers, OS builds, databases, virtualisation, cloud, storage, and disaster recovery.
* Deploy and manage cloud-based services (Azure, storage, backups, DevOps).
* Support automation and digitalization projects that enhance productivity.
* Monitor cybersecurity threats and ensure compliance with global standards.
* Maintain documentation, processes, and governance.
* 5+ years’ experience in IT/OT Infrastructure management.
* Strong expertise in servers, cloud, asset lifecycle, and security standards.
* Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders at different levels.
* Experience with GxP, SOX, and GDPR compliance.
* Fluent in German and English.
