Sales Account Manager
Job responsibilities
Regularly meet or exceed your sales quota, while aggressively expanding the total sales opportunity funnel across Germany, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.
Employ best in class ‘consultative selling’ sales strategies, to establish and grow revenues at new and existing global customers.
Cultivate personal relationships at all levels within our target accounts, visiting them regularly in order to ensure strong customer alignment, satisfaction and retention.
Provide sales leadership for the full customer product life-cycle, maximizing Focuslight market share at all target accounts in the region.
Through critical market analysis, identify new business opportunities and market adjacencies for Focuslight capabilities.
Provide regular updates to internal Focuslight teams via CRM, customer contact reports, forecasts and ad-hoc reporting request.
Participate in trade fair appearances, conferences and other marketing activities.
Job requirements
10+ years of sales or business development experience in photonics markets, with successful track record of closing multi $M deals.
Strong project management capabilities with demonstrated success in managing complex technology design cycles.
BSc or higher degree in a science or engineering discipline.
Ambitious, results-oriented and independent mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. Fluent in English and in German required.
Disciplined and accurate forecasting and CRM ability.
Willingness to travel >50% of the time within EMEA, with occasional trips to Asia.

Based in Switzerland or Germany.
