PHYSIOZH is looking for a Sports Physiotherapist to join our team in Dübendorf. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment, functional diagnosis, and treatment of patients presenting with sports-related injuries, working with athletes from a wide range of sports and performance levels, as well as individuals with musculoskeletal conditions.
You will design and deliver individualized rehabilitation programs from the acute phase through to return-to-sport, while also contributing to injury prevention strategies aimed at reducing the risk of future injuries. The role involves close collaboration with physiotherapists, rehabilitation coaches, and strength & conditioning coaches to ensure optimal recovery and maximize athletic performance.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Physiotherapy
* Swiss Red Cross (SRK) recognition, allowing practice as a physiotherapist in Switzerland
* German language proficiency (mother tongue or a minimum of B2 certified level)
* Good knowledge of English (minimum of B2 certified level)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Postgraduate specialization in Sports Physiotherapy and/or Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
* Certifications such as Sports Physiotherapist, IFOMPT, and/or IFSPT.
* Experience working as a Team Physiotherapist within sports organizations or clubs.
* Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in sports and/or musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment.
* Comprehensive assessment and management of musculoskeletal disorders, including the identification of red flags and appropriate medical referral when required.
* Functional assessment, identification of prognostic factors, and development of individualized rehabilitation plans based on evidence-based practice principles.
* Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, sports taping (basic and advanced), and musculoskeletal injury management.
* Ability to design and implement rehabilitation programs incorporating fundamental Strength & Conditioning principles.
