We are looking for an HR Operations Intern 60 – 100% to support our Group HR Manager in delivering efficient and reliable HR services across our organization.
You will work closely with the Group HR Manager and will assist with day-to-day HR operations, support the development and execution of HR initiatives, and provide administrative assistance for HR management tasks. Responsibilities also include assisting in employee relations activities and ensuring the smooth implementation of HR processes for our teams across multiple countries.
Admission: January or February 2026
Location: Bassersdorf (Zürich)
Duration: Internship for 6–12 months (flexible)
Scope: Group (Switzerland, Spain, Germany and India)
What you will do:
1. HR Operations
* Support and coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Assist with recruitment activities: job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
* Organize employee orientations and ensure follow-up on required documentation.
* Support HR compliance tasks, maintain HR documentation, and contribute to local labor law adherence across countries.
* Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
* Contribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of HR processes.
* Participate in Group-wide HR projects (L&D, Employer Branding, Engagement initiatives, Talent Management etc.).
2. HR Administration
* Prepare employment contracts, amendments, exit letters, work certificates, and other HR documents.
* Manage social security and authority notifications (work permits, family allowances, BVG declarations etc.).
* Handle sick leave, accident reports, and insurance declarations.
* Keep HR systems and employee records up to date (vacation balances, overtime, documentation).
3. Payroll
* Ensure accurate payroll input data and collaborate with payroll providers in Spain, Germany, and India.
* Execute the monthly payroll for Switzerland via Abacus.
What you will need:
* Ongoing or completed studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
* Interest in HR operations with international exposure.
* Comfortable using digital tools and HR systems.
* Knowledge of Swiss labor law and social insurances, preferrable.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
* Proactive with a willingness to innovate and take initiative.
* Languages: Goof level of English (German is a plus).
