The expected job responsibilities
* Drive Mission staff to and from official engagements in Geneva, and the neighbouring cantons if required.
* Ensure that the vehicles are in good operational and clean condition at all times.
* Ensure good maintenance of the vehicles including tracking the maintenance schedule of the official vehicles, liaising with the garage / workshop for the servicing of the vehicles when necessary and validity of insurance coverage
* Maintain proper records of all usage of the official vehicles by staff.
* Carry out dispatch duties such as delivery of mail, gifts, etc (which may be performed via Mission’s official motorcycle.)
* Cover the duties of other chauffeurs when necessary.
* Perform banking and other general errands such as purchase of stationery, miscellaneous supplies, etc.
Other duties
* Assist in the Mission’s events and other administrative tasks when required.
* Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Applicants should possess the following qualifications
* Good command of English and French.
* Possess both a Swiss category “A” (motorcycles) and “B” license.
* Strong knowledge of Swiss road traffic regulations and familiarity with roads in Geneva and the neighbouring cantons.
* At least 5 years of full-time driving experience.
* Basic Information Technology and Microsoft applications knowledge.
