The Opportunity
Spearhead the commercial development of our core product portfolio - spanning both Single and Multi-Use technologies - across the local Swiss market.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Sales Professional with a strong technical background in the Life Science industry. This is a pivotal role for a candidate who excels as both a commercial driver and a trusted technical advisor.
Based in and responsible for the German-speaking Swiss territory, you will be the key figure in developing this region. You will have the autonomy to build a robust client portfolio and the authority to lead technical-commercial negotiations, crafting tailored solutions for leading Life Science manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Business & Account Development: Design and execute the regional business development strategy. Identify, acquire, and nurture key accounts, negotiating long-term contracts to ensure sustainable growth.
* End-to-End Sales Cycle Management: Own the entire sales process from initial prospecting and lead generation through technical consultation, negotiation, and project delivery, ensuring exceptional post-sale support.
* Technical Solution Selling: Act as a trusted technical advisor. Utilize your deep product knowledge of pumps, valves and fluid path components to analyze client processes and champion customized solutions that meet their critical needs.
* Market Intelligence & Strategy: Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs and competitor activity. Use these insights to shape our regional strategy and product offerings.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate seamlessly with internal technical, production and marketing teams to guide product configuration, pricing strategies and the successful launch of new product lines.
Your Profile: The Ideal Candidate
* A minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in the Life Science sector.
* A proven track record in selling technically complex products.
* Demonstrable expertise and a strong network within the Life Science Market.
* Proven experience in strategic business development and managing complex, project-based sales cycles.
* Full professional proficiency in both German and English is mandatory.
* Entrepreneurial Mindset: A self-starter who is hands‑on, autonomous and driven to build and grow a territory.
* Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and articulate complex fluid technology applications.
* Excellent Negotiator: Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Results‑Oriented: A collaborative, proactive and positive attitude with a sharp focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
* Willingness to travel up to 40% within Switzerland for client meetings and industry events.
