We are seeking a Senior SAP Advanced TM Consultant to lead the design and implementation of SAP Transportation Management within a large-scale S / 4HANA migration. The consultant will engage with logistics stakeholders to capture requirements, configure and optimize Advanced TM functionalities (planning, carrier selection, freight orders, charge calculation, etc.), and ensure full integration with EWM and SD / MM. The role demands strong alignment with business processes, particularly in transport planning and cost control. The consultant will drive workshops, prepare documentation in English, and operate in French with business users on a daily basis. Experience in regulated or precision-driven sectors such as watchmaking or logistics is highly desirable. The role is based in Geneva with hybrid flexibility and requires onsite presence 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business workshops, configure SAP Advanced TM modules, ensure integration with SAP EWM and SD / MM, drive functional and technical alignment, manage documentation and test scripts, support cutover and go-live, provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
Requirements
* The ideal candidate must have at least 8 years of experience in SAP logistics modules including a minimum of 3 years in SAP Advanced TM within S / 4HANA environments.
* Proven ability to configure and deploy key TM functionalities such as transportation planning, freight order management, freight unit building, charge calculation, carrier selection, and subcontracting scenarios is required.
* Experience with TM-EWM integration and end-to-end logistics process flow is essential, as is knowledge of interfaces with SD and MM modules.
* Strong experience working in large-scale SAP transformation programs is expected, ideally in a greenfield or complex migration setting.
* The consultant must be fluent in French and possess a “French mindset” in terms of working style, stakeholder communication, and cultural fit with business teams.
* Excellent English proficiency is also required, particularly for documentation, workshops with global teams, and internal coordination.
* Proficiency in conducting blueprint workshops, writing functional specifications, preparing test cases, and supporting UAT and hypercare is essential.
* The role demands a hands-on, proactive consultant who can manage deliverables independently, coordinate with offshore teams, and ensure high-quality documentation.
* Previous project experience in industries such as watchmaking, logistics, automotive, or other precision-based manufacturing environments is a strong asset.
* Candidates should have deep knowledge of TM master data, condition-based charge management, and transportation cockpit configuration.
* Strong understanding of transportation KPIs, cost control mechanisms, and transport service provider (TSP) collaboration is preferred.
* Experience with Fiori-based applications in TM and knowledge of BRF+ rules is a plus.
* The consultant must be able to operate onsite in Geneva 3 days per week, and demonstrate adaptability in a high-demand, quality-driven project environment.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems or related field is required.
* SAP TM certification and previous exposure to Agile or hybrid project delivery frameworks are highly desirable.
* Strong French-speaking interpersonal skills, understanding of “French mindset” for business interaction, flexibility to be onsite in Geneva 3 days per week
