Our financial client is seeking a C# Software Engineer to join their Basel based team in a permanent role.
Your role:
As Lead Software Engineer you are passionate in building crafted scalable, efficient and sustainable software and provide cutting‑edge, high‑quality digital experiences to our internal and external clients.
Your responsibilities:
* Lead the technical design and implementation of robust, scalable systems using the latest market technologies
* Design and implement extensions to the existing e‑banking back‑end solution
* Refactor and optimize the current code‑base to improve robustness, scalability and maintainability
* Migrate to new technologies, platforms and language features, ensuring seamless adoption and ongoing updates
* Provide guidance, training, and feedback to foster skill growth and team excellence
Your profile
* Higher education (university / FH) in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
* 10 years of practical experience in the field of Software Engineering using C#
* Excellent skills in Microsoft SQL Server including T‑SQL and .NET 8.0
* Ability to work with various stakeholder
* Hands‑on mentality as well as willingness to take responsibility
* Capability to work independently as well as ability to work under pressure
* Fluency in English
