Join our team as a Service Solution Architect and be at the forefront of revolutionizing the world’s infrastructure. Play a key role in driving growth and transformation within Siemens Smart Infrastructure Building’s Business Unit.
Location: This position will be located in either Zug, Switzerland or within the EU & UK. The prerequisite is your legal eligibility to work in the respective country; relocation is not required. An engaged and multinational team will be happy to introduce you into our environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Account Managers to understand customer pain points and business goals during bids.
Translate needs into structured, value‑driven service solution concepts.
Design comprehensive service agreements and lifecycle programs tailored to enterprise needs.
Leverage digital, remote, analytics, and outcome‑based service models.
Develop scalable, technically sound solutions based on installed systems, data, and compatibility, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity, connectivity, and portfolio standards.
Promote digital, cloud, and analytics‑driven services including diagnostics and optimization.
Drive adoption of outcome‑based, performance‑focused service contracts.
Balance scope, value, and cost while leading pricing for digital service offerings, coordinating globally to ensure competitive, profitable, and differentiated proposals.
Align with countries and Digital Service Center to validate solutions and ensure smooth execution, overseeing estimates, delivery handover, and ongoing service ownership and reporting.
Engage customers with pre‑sales thought leadership and strategic insights.
Build internal capabilities through training, workshops, demos, and webinars.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Economics (or comparable).
5+ years of relevant experience (or 10+ years across diverse roles) in service solution design, presales, digital services, consulting, or enterprise B2B environments.
Proven experience supporting enterprise bids and translating customer needs into commercial service solutions.
Strong knowledge of Building Automation, HVAC, Fire Safety, Energy Systems, and lifecycle service models.
Solid understanding of Digital Services, including remote services, cloud solutions, analytics, and data‑driven offerings.
Expertise in OT/IT integration, building data analytics, and Fault Detection & Diagnostics.
Strong technical and analytical capability to navigate complex systems and develop structured, solution‑oriented approaches.
Commercially astute with consultative skills, able to articulate clear value‑driven, outcome‑based propositions.
Effective communicator and influencer across account teams, program managers, and senior stakeholders in global bid environments.
Self‑driven, resilient, and adaptable, with strong ownership and the ability to perform in fast‑paced international settings.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Role may be home office based within Europe with global customer engagement.
