* hotel has 241 rooms and suites. This establishment is seeking a highly skilled employee to lead the financial operations and drive the hotel’s success: Director of Finance
MISSIONS:
The Director of Finance will oversee all financial activities, ensuring compliance, strategic financial planning, and operational efficiency through the following, but not limited to, activities & tasks:
* Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability and cost efficiency
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in line with regulatory standards
* Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and international financial standards
* Manage financial risks and develop strategies to enhance financial sustainability
* Supervise and lead the finance team, providing mentorship and performance management
* Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies
* Optimize cash flow management and financial controls
* Collaborate with executive leadership to support business expansion and revenue growth
PROFILE:
* Proven experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality industry
* Prior experience working in African markets is required
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance in Equatorial Guinea or similar regions
* Fluent in Spanish and French
* Proficiency in financial software and hotel management systems
* Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
