As an Academic Assistant, the key responsibilities are the following:Assisting the Academic Managers with activities related to the development of content and structure of all academic programmes in adherence to the current standards and trends in higher educationAssisting the Academic department with the coordination of the student academic development cycleAssisting with the academic database management and with compiling statistics and academic policy documentsAssisting with the management of the student information portal and ERPBe interested in the development of Training programmesEngaging relevant stakeholders to create awarenessYou are the successful applicant if you match the following qualifications:A Master or Doctorate degree in international relations, political science, international law, international trade and economy, or any related fieldInterest in Academic Programme development, research would be prefferedExcellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of French or any other language is an assetKnowledge and experience in compiling statistics/data for reports and policy documentsAbility to communicate with judgement and diplomacyPassion to grow and evolveAbility to be organized, punctual and ability to initiate and follow up would be preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to multi taskExperience with LMS systems Moodle, Odoo etc would be an added advantageStrong computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite and database experience)Ability to work independently and as a team member; cope with workload pressure and deadlines; and work in a results based environmentAttributes such as being responsible, committed and loyal to the cause of the institution are mandatoryAn individual with a can do attitude, positivity, and a bright smile will be given preference
