Our teams of experts create high‑quality process technologies and systems optimized for the best end products, highest efficiency, and sustainability. /p h3Senior Accountant (m/f/d) /h3 pSite: Niederlenz (by Lenzburg), Switzerland. /p pThis position is responsible for group reporting in OneStream, VAT, all general ledger journal entries for CKS and other small entities, fixed assets, bank accounts, project controlling, SOX controls, and financial master data management, in close cooperation with the head of finance. /p h3Tasks /h3 ul liCoordination, preparation, and support of internal and external audits (SOX, EY, tax audits) /li liTimely and accurate monthly reporting according to US GAAP and statutory reporting for Coperion K-Tron Switzerland and for subsidiaries in EMEA and US in OneStream and forecasts /li liTimely tax declarations with support from external specialists, including VAT declarations in CH, DE, UK, and FR /li liSupport AR and AP specialists locally and at shared service centre /li liIntercompany recharges, commissions, and IC matching /li liCash collection and accounts receivables bad‑debt reserve /li liAccounts payable payments and cash forecast /li liGoods received not invoiced reconciliation /li liMaintain project accounting and support project controlling regarding project capitalization, margin and variance analysis /li liReview material cost variances, inventory and revenue cut‑off and update product cost calculations /li liResponsible for all accounting‑related tasks, including mapping, maintenance of chart of accounts, cost centres, and business units /li liAccount reconciliations and supervision of shared service centre /li liQuick support for ad‑hoc requests from Group Finance, local management, and project management /li liLeasing tool super user /li liPayroll reconciliation between HR and ERP system /li liOther tasks and ad‑hoc projects /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liSeveral years’ experience in international accounting (including VAT and SOX) /li liVery good written and verbal German and English skills /li liAdvanced experience using Microsoft Excel /li liAttention to detail and ability to prioritize diverse projects /li liWillingness to identify root causes and implement process improvements /li liFoster a collaborative and high‑performing team culture, encouraging open communication and teamwork /li liWillingness to collaborate with virtual teams in shared service centres /li liBachelor’s degree in finance and accounting or accounting education ("eidg.
