Deine Aufgaben
1. You will work on research topics including the structure and function of platelets and megakaryocytes, their receptors (like GPIb), single cell omics in murine and human models of aging, the effects of omega-3 fatty acids, lipidomics and the role of sphingosine1-phosphate in thrombosis and inflammation and the interactions with the microbiome, the gut- heart and brain axis.
2. Basic research is always connected to translational clinical questions.
3. Insights into translational research in national and international cohorts of thromboembolism, CAD and atrial fibrillation
4. Techniques: A large array of platelet structure and function diagnostics, single cell omics, transcriptome evaluation. Flow imaging, cell culture, cardiovascular outcome models of stroke and of myocardial infarction; Typical k.o. mouse models and organoids of aging and reversal intervention.
Dein Profil
5. Experience in experimental hematology, cardiology, bone marrow and stroke models is desirable (but not conditional).
6. Skillful benchwork abilities.
7. Communication and collaborative skills are essential.
8. An integrative personality and being a team player are mandatory.
