Position Overview
International Project Leader Logistic, Transport and Customs (English/French) based in Geneva, Switzerland, Permanent contract, Start date: ASAP.
Responsibilities include leading the planning, coordination and execution of worldwide logistics, transport and customs projects as part of the 3‑Year Plan. The role focuses on strategy development, budget management, stakeholder management, and reporting of outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead the construction of the 3‑Year Plan roadmaps for global logistics, transport and customs operations with regional and central leaders.
* Define strategy and project portfolio planning for entry into the 3‑Year Plan.
* Manage project budgets in collaboration with Transformation, Finance, Legal and other disciplines.
* Ensure feasibility of global strategy and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
* Oversee onboarding, governance meetings and formal communication for project teams.
* Represent Downstream Supply Chain in Corporate & Social Responsibility initiatives, including carbon savings measurement.
* Deploy major projects such as Transport Management Systems (TMS) for B2B and B2C, Customs Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, RFID and automation, and CITES digitalisation.
* Lead ROI measurement, KPI development, dashboarding and continuous improvement for TMS and other logistics systems.
Major Projects
* Deploy WW TMS: Lead B2B deployments in Americas & APAC and design best IT solutions for B2C distribution.
* Coordinate functional and technical solutions, training and post‑deployment stabilization.
* Build dashboards for transportation performance and invoicing controls worldwide.
* Lead TMS ROI analysis via structured reconciliation files and KPI dashboards.
* Benchmark AI in supply chain and propose continuous improvements.
* Lead upgrades of ERP, WMS, TMS, CMS applications with IT department.
* Lead CITES digitalisation with Italian government and Nippon collaboration.
* Build RFID & warehouse automation strategies and oversee deployment.
* Develop global distribution network performance matrix and dashboards.
* Act as CSR ambassador for Downstream Supply Chain governance.
Skills and Competencies Required
* Master’s degree in Supply Chain.
* At least 10 years managing logistics, transport and customs projects.
* Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
* Knowledge of customs regulations, security, safety and compliance.
* Strong project methodology experience and successful roll‑outs.
* Experience in tender processes and participation.
* Wide understanding of Supply Chain activities and related functions.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical, relational, and communication skills.
* Advanced MS Office (Excel) skills; VBA is an asset.
* Knowledge of Incoterms and operational flows.
* Understanding of fiscal, customs and logistics interconnections.
* Comfortable with data‑driven decision making.
* Capacity to manage pressure and peak activities.
* Fluent in French and English.
