We are looking for a Corporate Controller Sales, Marketing & D2C on the Corporate Controlling team in Kilchberg, Switzerland.
About the role
This role acts as a business partner to International Marketing, Sales, and Retail stakeholders, driving performance tracking across products, customers, and routes to market. The role is responsible for delivering comprehensive reporting, financial assessments, BI data management, ensuring data quality and presenting to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Controlling:
Strong Business Partnering with Intl. Marketing stakeholders and local Marketing Controllers
Track product and portfolio performance (Key Franchises, Seasonal Business, Permanent Business, etc.)
Assess financial models for product innovations and prepare financial models under supervision
Deliver monthly product reports and yearly Product Contribution Statements
Strong Business Partnering with International Sales stakeholders and local Sales Controllers
Track route to market performance (International Key Accounts, Local Key Accounts, Distributors, Retail, etc.)
Track progress in RGM (e.g. NTS per kg and the key drivers)
Validate and track Net Net Price Reporting
Value Chain Analysis for key products and L&S subsidiaries
Deliver monthly customer and price elasticity reports plus annual customer contribution statements
Retail Controlling:
Strong Business Partnering with D2C stakeholders and local Retail Controllers
Retail Investment Controlling:
Assess retail store investment requests of L&S subsidiaries from a financial and risk point of view
Monitor CAPEX spending and investment request success rate
Deliver yearly Retail Contribution Statements by store format and monthly retail performance reports
BI Reporting:
Maintenance of International customer attributes in collaboration with International Sales and local subsidiaries in the centralized Masterdata-tool
Maintenance of International Product attributes in collaboration with the International Marketing team in the centralized Masterdata-tool
Collection and validation of Sales data in the Intl. BI tool
Preparation and distribution of product group and customer reports for Intl. Marketing, Intl. Sales and Group Management
Definition, preparation and adjustment of product group and customer reports in the BI tool
Lead for definition of new processes and data collection for future reporting needs in collaboration with IT
Lead for ensuring data quality and alignment of reported figures with Tagetik
Training of BI users at Group and subsidiary level
Shared responsibilities:
Budget, Forecasts, Actual closing:
Prepare reports and presentation charts for the Board of Director’s and the Group Management Meeting
Finance Manual:
Provide guidance on Sales (all route-to-markets) & Marketing chapters of the Finance Manual and the associated Tagetik reports
Proactive input on improving reporting formats, data validation, streamlining
Other tasks:
Substitute for other controlling tasks in case of absences
Active contribution to projects
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required
Master’s degree in Corporate Finance or Business Administration
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Controlling area, ideally in FMCG
Self-driven, highly committed and result-oriented person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Distinct analytical and conceptual capabilities and good team spirit are further important characteristics.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), Tagetik, SAP BI, and solid ERP background.
Excellent verbal and written skills in English (any other language would be an asset)
