You’ll lead a team of direct reports, interact with key customer contacts, and have accountability for driving operational efficiency while improving the overall customer experience. Become a part of our dynamic global team and we’ll help you develop to a level that will exceed your expectations. /p h3What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like /h3 ul liLead a team of field-based direct reports who are responsible for operational efficiency, customer service and contractor procurement /li liMonitor financial metrics to identify trends and anticipate future outcomes; use financial discipline to guide business decisions /li liProactively manage customer service metrics to drive an excellent customer experience /li liProvide guidance, training, and performance management to employees while developing talent through continuous coaching /li liEstablish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally /li liDevelop an understanding of the assigned region, including competitors and socioeconomic trends, to identify and prioritize opportunities /li liRegularly monitor financial and service-related performance against commitments and targets; identify and implement specific initiatives to address performance shortfalls /li liManage expenses accurately and meet PL budget goals; develop insightful, value‑added, and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of those results /li liPrioritize regular workload, special tasks, and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established timeframe /li /ul h3At a Minimum, You’ll Need /h3 ul li7 years of experience in carrier development, delivery, distribution logistics and facility/warehouse management /li liExperience performing complex analyses of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems /li /ul h3It’d Be Great If You Also Have /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in a business‑related field /li li10+ years of experience in the logistics and transportation industry /li liProven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employees /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience /li liSelf‑motivated work style with the ability to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; consult with team members and management as needed /li liStrong organizational and time‑management skills /li /ul h3Our Benefits /h3 ul liComprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans /li li401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company match /li liPre‑tax accounts to help streamline eligible expenses /li liCompany‑paid disability and life insurance /li liEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) /li liCareer and Leadership Development Programs /li liPaid time off, company holidays, and volunteer days /li /ul h3Our Culture /h3 pOur values are the key to our unique culture and our ability to deliver for everyone we serve.
