We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our teams in Visp and support the development, optimization, and implementation of efficient and safe production processes within our manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and implement systems that increase efficiency and optimize all phases of the service or production process, from initial design to full-scale manufacturing.
Oversee process design projects to ensure efficient, reliable, and safe operations aligned with production and quality standards.
Design and adapt processes, equipment, and workflows to support product development and commercialization in a cost-effective manner while maintaining adherence to project budgets.
Evaluate existing manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to enhance performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
Configure and optimize manufacturing systems to reduce costs, improve productivity, and ensure consistent product quality.
Support the development of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies across the production organization.
Create and test prototypes of new or modified process designs, analyze results, and implement necessary modifications to achieve optimal functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production) to ensure alignment of process design with overall operational and regulatory requirements.
Profile
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
3–5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing optimization, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related regulated industry.
Proven experience with process design, equipment specification, and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex systems and propose practical solutions.
Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standards applicable to manufacturing environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams.
