Project Engineer – Technical Project Management – 6789
Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a Project Engineer, Technical Project management for a 12 months contract role based in the Valais area, Switzerland.
The Project Engineer develops concepts and advises “customers” on decision‑making and carries out the detailed engineering plan, applies for the necessary funds and manages the execution of the work. The Project Engineer is responsible for the costs, deadlines and functionality of the project.
Main Responsibilities distribution
Project Lead – 60%
In planning and realization of small and middle‑sized investment projects with direct impact on current production and/or business results.
In process engineering calculations and plant optimizations.
In feasibility studies of new plants and/or rebuilds of existing plants including cost estimation, scheduling and functionality.
In the planning, realization and support of production adjustments and product launches.
Concept Development 20%
Elaboration of possible technical solutions with evaluation of advantages and disadvantages.
Team Coordination / resource management – 10%
Procurement and organization of the necessary resources (internal or external) for the professional and timely execution of a project.
Optimization of the processes and transfer of know‑how – 10%
Optimization of process flows and solution implementation.
Qualifications and Experience :
Relevant working / residency permit or Swiss / EU-Citizenship required.
Technical Diploma or Bachelors Degree (Masters Preferred) preferably in mechanical engineering, process technology, Biotech or chemical engineering.
Application and incorporation of professional knowledge in day‑to‑day work.
