Key Responsibilities
This position is permanent and full-time, with an immediate start.
Upstream Processing (USP)
* Perform cell culture experiments using suspension-adapted mammalian cell lines (CHO) following established procedures in deep well plates, shake flasks, wave-bags, and bioreactors operated in perfusion mode.
* Conduct routine monitoring of bioreactors as required by the USP process.
Downstream Processing (DSP)
Purify cell culture harvest using membrane/chromatography and TFF facilities.
Experimentation & Data Management
* Organize experimental prerequisites—ordering buffers, media, feeds, and consumables for laboratory activities.
* Conduct and assist in laboratory experiments, ensuring proper collection, analysis, and documentation of raw data.
* Monitor and support the progress of laboratory activities related to specific projects.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
* Participate as department representative for common lab activities, troubleshooting, organizational improvements, and coordination of equipment calibration and maintenance.
* Ensure proper management of laboratory stocks, including equipment and consumables.
Qualifications
Desired Skills & Expertise
* Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture (aseptic handling techniques), including bioreactor operation.
* Experience with AKTA and TFF systems.
* Understanding of laboratory automation tools.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced laboratory environment.

* Ensure proper training of interns.

* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Educational and Experience
* Technician's diploma, Bachelor's, or equivalent (CFC, HES, BTS, IUT) in biochemistry, biology, or related fields.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical production, specifically in clinical or commercial USP.
Language and IT Skills
* Ability to communicate in both French and English.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
