Job Opportunity: Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
For a pioneering leader in the Swiss IT services industry, we are seeking a visionary Group CFO to drive sustainable growth with passion, strategic foresight, and a commitment to innovation.
Tasks
* Oversee Group Financial Reporting, KPI reporting, and the preparation of financial statements according to GAAP FER & Swiss Code of Obligations.
* Collaborate with CFOs to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning aligned with the group's strategic objectives.
* Require office presence in Delémont (and occasionally in Basel): a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
* Manage cash pooling to optimize liquidity and oversee consolidated cash flow management and reporting.
* Develop and implement a tax strategy to enhance the group's tax position, mitigate financial risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Harmonize and optimize financial operations and internal control systems across all group companies.
* Build strong relationships with banks to secure funding for future acquisitions and growth initiatives.
* Support valuation and due diligence for acquisitions, including balance sheet, income statement, and risk assessments.
* Work with external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
* Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a senior role such as CFO or Head of Finance.
* Extensive experience in similar roles, applying accounting principles and financial reporting, ideally within Swiss GAAP FER and Swiss Obligations.
* Empathetic leadership qualities, capable of uniting and motivating teams, with strategic foresight.
* Proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and a strong understanding of Swiss regulatory compliance.
* Proficiency in stakeholder management, strategic and holistic thinking, with an assertive approach.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in German or French is a strong asset.
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant qualification.
