Overview Partner Manager - Switzerland
This role focuses on the commercial development of the partner ecosystem in Switzerland. You will own and grow relationships with existing partners while acquiring new strategic partnerships to expand reach and deliver innovative Worldline payment solutions through partners to customers. You are the trusted commercial lead for our partners, responsible for creating and executing business plans, enabling partner-led sales, and ensuring strong go-to-market outcomes. You will work closely with technical, product, and marketing colleagues to deliver measurable value for both our partners and our customers.
The Opportunity
This role is focused on the commercial development of our partner ecosystem in Switzerland. You will own and grow relationships with existing partners while acquiring new strategic partnerships to expand our reach and deliver innovative Worldline payment solutions through partners to customers.
Responsibilities Partner Portfolio Development: Manage and expand our network of technology and business partners in Switzerland. Drive business development across the existing partner portfolio, identify new opportunities for joint growth, strengthen relationships, and increase value delivered to customers through Worldline payment solutions.
New Partner Acquisition: Identify, evaluate, and acquire new strategic partners. Build and articulate compelling business cases to onboard partners who complement our payment solutions portfolio and align with go-to-market strategy.
Solution Sales & Go-to-Market Execution: Develop and execute joint business plans with partners to deliver Worldline’s payment solutions, build strong value propositions, and drive co-selling and joint GTM initiatives. Help partners position offerings and accelerate deal cycles.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Technical Experts, Product Management, Marketing, and the GTM team to align partner priorities with business goals. Lead the commercial aspects of partnerships while collaborating with technical counterparts to deliver robust payment solutions.
Performance Management & Reporting: Monitor and report on partner performance, analyze pipeline, revenue contribution, and market impact. Identify areas for improvement, innovation, and investment, ensuring growth and alignment with objectives.
Partner Enablement & Marketing: Ensure partners are commercially enabled to position and sell Worldline solutions. Support creation of sales materials, joint campaigns, and GTM programs; lead joint business reviews and workshops to plan and optimize performance.
Market & Ecosystem Insights: Stay attuned to the Swiss partner ecosystem, including payment trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments. Share actionable insights to inform partner strategy and market-relevant offerings.
Qualifications A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field, with experience in partner management, business development, strategic alliances, or account management.
Fluency in German and English is required; proficiency in French or Italian is a strong plus.
Deep understanding of the Swiss payments and fintech landscape, with expertise in payment processing, acquiring, or adjacent technologies valued.
Demonstrated success in solution-based sales with the ability to craft compelling value propositions and support partners in driving customer adoption.
Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with ability to interpret performance metrics, market trends, and partner feedback into actionable strategies.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in developing joint business plans, executing co-selling motions, and delivering GTM strategies through partnerships.
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing partner pipelines and data-informed decisions.
