About Group Audit
Group Audit is an independent function within the Roche Group that provides assurance to Senior Management and the Board of Directors. We assess risk management, governance, efficiency, and compliance of business operations across all core Roche businesses (Pharma, Diagnostics, and Diabetes Care).
Group Audit offers significant development opportunities, and group auditors often advance to roles in business functions aligned with their expertise.
As a Senior IT Auditor :
You will be responsible for assessing risks, leading, and delivering IT audits across multiple disciplines, including:
1. IT governance and alignment with business objectives
2. Project and programme reviews, including organizational transformation
3. IT security, infrastructure, and networks
4. Emerging and disruptive technologies such as AI, RPA, ML, LLM
5. Data privacy, data, and information governance
You will also contribute your IT expertise to audits managed by non-IT teams, partnering with stakeholders including senior IT leaders to understand their organizations, execute audits, communicate results, and recommend improvements. You will follow up on issues to ensure satisfactory resolution.
The role is based in Basel, Switzerland, with approximately 25% global travel involved.
Main requirements :
1. 5-7 years of experience in IT functions or equivalent.
2. External candidates with proven IT internal audit experience or strong IT consulting backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Experience with IT function transformations is a plus.
3. Solid academic credentials (master’s degree), ideally in IT.
4. Proficient communication skills, with influencing and negotiating abilities. Business proficiency in English (written and verbal) is essential.
5. Technical acumen in IT is required, though expertise in all listed areas is not necessary. A good understanding of many areas, including risk management, is advantageous.
6. Experience or understanding of data-related domains such as data science, data privacy, data governance, and data analytics is a plus.
7. Critical thinking, growth mindset, and analytical skills are vital for success in this role.
