Role Overview
As a Manufacturing Line Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical and logistical execution of production campaigns in a bioconjugate manufacturing facility. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and actively contribute to project groups focused on investments and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in the planning and engineering phases of projects to ensure technical specifications are met and production campaigns run successfully.
* Provide organizational and technical oversight of production campaigns, ensuring operational continuity and safety, including outside normal working hours.
* Prepare cGMP-compliant documentation in collaboration with the equipment team leader, R&D, and production biotechnologists.
* Deliver technical instructions and production-specific training for operators during campaigns.
* Monitor strict adherence to operating procedures and manufacturing protocols, intervening in case of deviations.
* Support information exchange and communication within the operations team.
* Drive continuous improvement of equipment, workflows, and processes (6S, Lean Six Sigma, KAIZEN) while ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, environmental, and quality standards.
Your Profile
* Completed technical education or training (apprenticeship, advanced technical certification, Bachelor, or Master’s degree).
* Ideally, experience in production environments for chemical or biotechnological products, or in the food industry.
* Initial exposure to ISO and/or GMP manufacturing environments is a plus.
* Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and affinity for electronic systems and applications.
* Fluent German (spoken and written) and good English skills.
* Willingness to perform on-call duties as required.
