Job responsibilities
Based in our Geneva Head Office, as part of our Central Europe Accounting Team (Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Romania and Czech Republic) and under the responsibility of the Senior Accountant Switzerland, you will gradually take the responsibility of the Account receivables activities for our 9 stores in Switzerland.
Your main tasks will be the following:
* Monitoring of accounts, bank reconciliations, non-monetary reconciliations (gift certificates, credit notes and deposits) between POS and SAP platform, including investigation and strict follow-up with stores and collaboration with store managers in case of discrepancies.
* Deposit management: Follow-up and monitoring of accounts– including co-operation with departments and stores to improve follow-up, analysis and reporting.
* Sales audits: Responsible for the reporting and auditing of sales details between POS and SAP platform for all stores in Switzerland.
* Daily information to the stores of the bank transfers received.
* Close co-operation with fellow accounting colleagues in preparation of monthly and yearly closings to justify all pending open items in accounts.
In addition, to those mentioned responsibilities, you will be part of projects that will impact your scope of responsibility.
Profile
You’ve successfully obtained a degree in accounting and have at least 2 years of prior accounting experience, including internships. You are also at ease in using SAP.
Organizational skills, customer-oriented mindset and rigor are your strengths, which permit you to work with facility in a dynamic environment. You’re attentive to details and have a high sense of ethic. Being able to cope with changes and moving priorities, will help you to succeed.
Your English and French are fluent, and German is an asset.
Finally, you’re available as soon as possible to start this 12 months internship.
