IT Business Process Engineer (AMOS)
As an IT Business Process Engineer at AMAC Aerospace Switzerland AG, you drive internal AMOS integration projects that aim to extend the usage of AMOS throughout the company and to streamline any business related processes. Additionally, you deliver technical support for the ERP system AMOS and related satellite technologies to business users throughout the AMAC group of companies (mainly AMAC Switzerland, AMAC Turkey and JCB Aero) according to the needs of the business. You are able to understand the business processes of the MRO industry and help to interpret received input from end users or to address other issues as necessary. You are part of the IT Business Processes team inside the AMAC IT department and ensure that the existing software architecture works well and efficiently. When you receive issues via phone, e-mail or other apps, you register them into the IT Service Management Tool and either solve them independently or escalate them accordingly.
Position and Responsibilities
Administrate and configure the AMOS ERP system incl. satellite devices / solutions for daily operation
Identify and communicate / coordinate potential process adjustments
Specify user requirements and lead / assist in AMOS related integration projects
Provide trainings and required documentation for AMOS related processes
Perform full support for AMOS for AMAC Switzerland (CH), Turkey (TR) and JCB Aero (JCB)
Analyze incidents, diagnose and find their root causes, then either solve them or escalate them to the relevant people (e.g. Software Engineers / System Engineers)
Maintain project tasks, support cases and changes in the AMAC IT Service Management Tool
Support end users from the business for AMOS tasks
Ensure end users follow the local working standards (with trainings, processes, guidance and concepts)
Perform daily checks on the AMOS client
Maintain AMOS basic data information
Configure hardware settings in AMOS (for label printers, scanners, badge readers etc.)
Required Skills and Qualifications
Fluent in English (required), French and/or German (beneficial)
3+ years experience as AMOS Administrator or key user
Profound knowledge in Part 145 MRO processes – experience in Part 21G / Part 21J is a plus
Independent and inquiring attitude with the ability to work in a team
Proactive and innovative personality
Strong organization & communication skills
Good knowledge of MS office applications
Experience in user trainings & documentations
SQL / ETL / Business Intelligence skills as a plus
