Our client, Rising Tide Foundation, headquartered in Schaffhausen, is one of Switzerland’s leading foundations focused on advancing freedom and prosperity while pioneering clinical cancer research.

Your Responsibilities
In this executive leadership role, reporting directly to the Chairman of the Board, you will shape and drive the foundation’s strategic direction and operational performance, overseeing the business and the two main philanthropic programs Freedom in Practice and Clinical Cancer Research.

Craft, articulate, and execute long‑term strategies that propel the foundation’s business performance and mission to foster freedom, prosperity, and innovative advances in cancer research.

Enhance and safeguard the foundation’s reputation and external networks by nurturing trust‑based partnerships with key stakeholders, affiliated organizations, and the foundation’s financial subsidiary.

Champion a workplace culture of collaboration, inclusiveness, empowerment, and shared responsibility within a familial spirit.

Drive operational and fiscal excellence through oversight of cross‑divisional coordination, resource management, budget compliance, performance evaluation, and strategic management of service providers to maximize impact and sustainability.

Your Profile

Decisive and articulate visionary with a proven track record in senior leadership roles within the philanthropic sector.

Deep knowledge of Swiss regulatory and governance frameworks, combined with strong strategic acumen and excellent communication abilities.

Significant experience working in or with the USA, understanding its philanthropic landscape and cultural nuances.

Empowering leadership grounded in respect for autonomy, servant leadership principles, and collective engagement.

Proficient in fostering trust and collaboration across governing boards, advisory committees, partners, and teams.

High level of business integrity, acumen, and a willingness to constantly improve.

Continuously seeking innovative paths to success and driven to deliver outstanding results.

Commitment to inclusive decision‑making and advancing meaningful social and scientific progress.

Fluency in English and German, both oral and written, enabling effective communication in international contexts.
