Our client in Zurich is looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Fircosoft sanctions screening solutions.
Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain Fircosoft products and their underlying infrastructure (servers, databases, interfaces)
* Design, test, and optimise screening rule sets to reliably detect sanction‑related risks
* Monitor platform performance and introduce improvements to boost accuracy
* Analyse system behaviour, review data patterns, and identify enhancement opportunities
* Manage change documentation, performance reporting, and process descriptions
* Contribute to system architecture discussions and participate in end‑to‑end project activities, from analysis to testing
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science (university or technical college) and hands‑on experience as a systems engineer/administrator
* Strong knowledge of Fircosoft tools
* PKI, SSH, certificates
* Networking (IP, firewalls, load balancing)
* Programming/scripting
* Messaging technologies (JMS, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka)
* Willingness toparticipate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation
