Job Description
The Senior Principal Biostatistician (a) will lead a Phase 3 study of a new drug. Responsibilities include:
* Perform advanced statistical analyses to support clinical and non‑clinical research activities.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement statistical strategies.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for statistical reporting.
* Develop and review statistical analysis plans and related documentation.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior biostatisticians and team members.
* Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and scientific publications.
* Identify and implement innovative statistical methodologies to improve data analysis processes.
* Communicate analytical findings effectively to stakeholders within the organization.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Candidate Will Bring
* A degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field.
* Minimum 8 years relevant experience as a statistician or data scientist within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with experience in FDA submissions.
* Proficiency in statistical software tools such as SAS or R (no programming).
* Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies applicable to the LIFE SCIENCES industry.
* Experience with regulatory requirements and guidelines for clinical trials.
* Excellent communication in English and problem‑solving skills.
* Experience with dynamic reporting and shiny apps as a user is an advantage.
