We are seeking a dynamic and driven International Leisure Sales Manager to join our team at Fairmont Le Montreux Palace. The role focuses on building international relationships, driving business development, and ensuring revenue growth across key markets.
Responsibilities
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
Ensure prompt and courteous service to internal and external customers.
Drive and achieve sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Manage and develop a portfolio of international accounts including luxury travel advisors, tour operators, consortia partners, and strategic clients.
Establish parameters, quote and negotiate prices, confirming by written contracts.
Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to ensure rate integrity, market positioning, and optimal pricing strategies.
Promote the hotel in major market areas via tradeshows, conventions, sales blitz, and promotional events.
Plan and execute targeted sales trips in key markets to generate qualified leads and opportunities.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and geopolitical factors affecting demand.
Manage key accounts, record activity and details in appropriate software.
Follow up on all business leads within a 24‑hour response timeline.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Conduct competitor surveys and recommend strategies based on market intelligence.
Follow departmental policies and procedures.
Ensure revenue maximization and growth versus competitors for assigned geographic areas.
Develop new accounts in growing markets.
Lead and organize assigned site inspections.
Maintain detailed knowledge of hotel services and figures.
Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs.
Qualifications
Strong international sales experience within luxury hospitality or travel industry.
Proven track record in developing new markets and generating revenue.
Experience with luxury consortia.
Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
Strong commercial mindset with revenue‑driven approach.
Fluency in English and French; additional languages are an asset.
University or college degree in a related discipline preferred.
Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
Highly responsible and reliable.
Act as an ambassador of the hotel internationally, ensuring consistent brand positioning.
