Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing HR functions across the assigned center(s), ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. This role involves managing employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and strategic HR planning. The HR Manager serves as a key partner to leadership, driving initiatives that foster a positive work culture, employee engagement, and organizational growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for the center HR team, providing guidance and resolution.
* Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
* Audit HRIS to verify data accuracy, employee records, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
* Provide HRIS support to center HR staff.
* Review and approve all Progressive Discipline actions.
* Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, including health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
* Review and update center staff training and incentive plans, ensuring compliance.
* Be responsible for the center’s Equal Opportunity Plan (EO Plan), including gathering data for submission to a third‑party vendor.
* Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization‑wide meetings, training, employee recognition events, and other events.
* Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human‑resource files, records, and documentation.
* Review HR policies annually and make recommendations for updates.
* Maintain accountability of assigned property, adhering to required property‑control policies and procedures.
* Comply with all DOL guidelines, Job Corps notices and company policies and procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned within the individual’s scope and capabilities.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required: above‑average public speaking skills, above‑average verbal and written skills, above‑average problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills; computer literacy, specifically Internet, email, Microsoft Office; proficiency with payroll management, HRIS, and similar computer applications; ability to work evenings and weekends as needed; willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time.

Travel Expectations
This remote role requires 25% travel within the Kentucky and Cincinnati area. Residence within reasonable driving proximity is required.
Experience
3–5 years prior HR experience required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license. SHRM‑CP preferred.
Physical Demands
