About the Opportunity:
Agius & Partners SA is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected private bank in Geneva. This institution combines Swiss banking tradition with a forward-thinking approach to risk and technology. They are currently looking to hire a Risk Manager with strong Python skills to join their Risk Management team.
Role Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically proficient candidate to further develop the Risk Management function(s). Support investment teams with advanced risk analytics, reporting, and automation efforts within a sophisticated private banking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in monitoring and analyzing market, credit, and operational risks.
* Develop and maintain risk analysis tools and reporting dashboards.
* Automate recurring risk processes to improve team efficiency.
* Support the preparation of regular and ad-hoc risk reports for internal and regulatory purposes.
* Participate in stress testing, scenario modeling, and portfolio risk assessments.
* Work cross-functionally with Compliance, IT, and Front Office teams to improve data quality and risk visibility.
* Contribute to the ongoing refinement of internal risk methodologies and systems.
Candidate Profile:
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
* 13 years of relevant experience in risk management, quantitative analysis, or financial data analytics.
* Solid working knowledge of Python for data manipulation, visualization, and process automation.
* Familiarity with major financial instruments (equities, fixed income, options) and risk management concepts
* Additional IT skills strongly appreciated
* ESG competencies a plus
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate complex findings clearly.
* Fluent in English; French is an asset.
